T S Eliot: Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday maps Eliot’s escape from the spiritual void.  This isn’t something everyone does, needs, or wants to do.  It was something Eliot needed to do and did, documenting his resolution with this work.  In this interpretation, the poem is recited over the consistent rhythm of life, punctuated by competing aural representations of the sacred and the profane. (best heard with your headphones)
