Chavez to Nationalize Haiti

On the heels of having taken over the French-Colombian retailer Exito, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced he would seize Haiti in order to devalue its currency, thus reducing competition with the Venezuelan Bolivar. “One less threat to the misery of the collective,” was the operative quote heard in his latest speech in response to the disaster on Hispaniola.   He further added, “If we cannot help, we must at least nationalize!   We must remove the  stench of capitalism which has putrefied  the Haitian air.  Our mighty Venezuelan Air Force will be arriving within four to six weeks, possibly less!”
