Human Hegemony

Whether musical, visual, plastic or literary:  Humans, as a species, continue to produce the highest quality art on this planet.
The efforts of operatic whales,  dancing dolphins, singing birds,  resourceful  rodents,  talking dogs, acrobatic squirrels, constructive beavers and  inventive chimps, among others,  consistently fall short even of  “folk art”  in terms of  overall aesthetic content and meaning.  While the works of  certain mammals are often interesting and occasionally inspire,  the global artistic hegemony enjoyed by Mankind is unassailable.
